Willis Gillis Music is a music publishing member of ASCAP est. in 1996 by Gil specializing in songwriting creation, and produces the song idea into a viable music industry presentation by developing and supporting independent songwriters. Other services include music lessons, co-writing, producing, studio musicianship and recording, and the pursuit of placing songs with the current music media industries. In addition to his involvement with songwriting and studio musicianship, Gil has been teaching music (guitar, violin, piano, bass, mandolin, ukulele) and is starting his third semester at the Knowlton Fine Arts Homeschool Co-op in Hope, N.J.
Notable events: Gil has played showcases in Nashville with (The Matt & Parker Band) and other Nashville locals such as Maxwell's, and was the coordinator for the NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Association International) for 10 years, Gil also auditioned and was selected to participate in the CBS/Mark Burnett production of "Jingles." Gil also appeared along with Steve Curtis on the televised Big Brothers and Big Sisters telethon in East Stroudsburg and is currently in the process of recording his second Album "New Year's Day" to be released in November of 2019.
Music lessons and mentorship have included former students such as Katie Ruvane (Belmont- Nashville), Mikala Bauer, Robbie Mizzone of Sleepy Man Band, and current students and upcoming artists of the Jon Gill & Co, the Kearstan Brothers, and others.
